Most of my life, I took care of my health... just enough.
For years, I treated my health like a lot of people do.
I knew sleep mattered. I knew I should eat well, manage stress, recover, and pay attention to what my body was telling me.
But life was busy. I felt fine. So most of it stayed in the “I’ll deal with that when I need to” category.
Lifelong runner? Check.
National-level track athlete? Yep.
Army firefighter? That too.
I thought I was healthy because I could keep going.
Until I couldn’t.
In August 2021, I landed in the hospital with rhabdomyolysis.
What followed was a long list of health challenges, treatments, questions, and plenty of trial and error.
Suddenly, “I’ll deal with it later” wasn’t an option anymore.
I had plenty of information.
What I really needed was someone in my corner to help me make sense of it and figure out what came next.
So, I got curious.
Really curious.
Eventually, my dietitian introduced me to functional and integrative medicine, and I started looking at my health differently.
I didn’t just want to get back to “normal.” I wanted to understand what helped me feel my best and build a healthier way forward.
So I learned. I made changes. I hit setbacks. I adjusted and tried again.
Somewhere along the way, my functional medicine practitioner introduced me to health coaching, and something clicked.
Years earlier, I’d become a personal trainer, but telling people what to do never felt quite right. I wanted to help people figure out what worked for them.
That’s when I realized health coaching was the kind of support I had been looking for all along.
And now, I get to be that person in your corner.
I’m here to help you cut through the noise, find realistic next steps, and make taking care of yourself actually work in your real life.
Before “I’ll deal with it later” turns into “I wish I had started sooner.”

A Few Things I Believe
You don’t have to wait until something is wrong.
Taking care of yourself now matters, even when life is busy and you feel “fine.”
Small steps still count.
Better health doesn’t require an overnight overhaul. Start somewhere and build from there.
Your plan has to work in real life.
Busy weeks, family, work, vacations, setbacks...they all count. Your healthy habits need to survive real life.
Progress isn’t a straight line.
Sometimes you move forward. Sometimes you regroup. Sometimes you start again. Keep going.
You’re in the driver’s seat.
I’m not here to tell you how to live. I’m here to help you figure out what works for you and support you along the way.
Enough about my path.
Let’s talk about yours.
We’ll talk about where you are, where you want to go, and how I can support you along the way.
